What this page is:
a short orientation for the foreseeable-misuse (FM1–FM7) module.
Read this page first, then jump into the two main FM surfaces:
the counsel-work page and the acceptance (GREEN/AMBER) table.
1. Big Picture
This module treats the foreseeable misuse of Claude as a
product-safety and governance question first, and a
disclaimer / terms question second.
The spine is Anthropic’s safety and governance posture
(RSP v2.2, ASL, evaluations, gating, incident response).
Disclaimers, terms, and UI copy sit on top of that spine, aligning expectations
and allocating responsibility where risk cannot be engineered away.
FM1–FM7 are the flagship scenarios we think a careful product-liability lawyer
will care about first (professional reliance, hallucinated law, safety-critical
toolchains, downstream products, harmful content, marketing vs reality,
and data/privacy/security expectations).
2. How to Use the FM Pack (Quick Path for lead external counsel)
Open the counsel-work page (FM narrative + scenario cards + Q&A)
to get the story and talking points.
Open the FM acceptance table when the conversation shifts to
“What are we actually committing to?” — that page is your GREEN/AMBER dashboard.
Use the Sources blocks on each FM row (and the citations in the
counsel-work page) to jump straight to Anthropic policies, RSP/ASL docs, legal
sources, and technical work.
Dip into the FM Q&A prep and mini-brief if you want
short, written answers or slide-ready framing for specific questions.
3. Navigation — Open These First
The filenames below are the actual HTML artifacts in this pack.
FM acceptance table (GREEN/AMBER dashboard):
masterplan_v3_foreseeable_misuse_acceptance_table_v002.html
For each scenario: core question, Anthropic commitments, customer responsibilities,
role of terms/disclaimers, risk status, follow-ups, and a Sources block.
4. Supporting FM Materials (If You Want to Go Deeper)
These documents are referenced in the FM module and live in the same project folder.
They are not all separate HTML pages, but they inform the counsel-work and acceptance
surfaces you’ll actually use in prep and in the room.
FM Phase A narrative (JSON):masterplan_v3_foreseeable_misuse_phaseA_draft_v005.json
Full narrative explanation of FM1–FM7, framing, and cross-cutting themes.
FM mini-brief (JSON):masterplan_v3_foreseeable_misuse_mini_brief_v001.json
Compact, Anthropic lead counsel-ready thesis on product-safety-first, disclaimers-second.
FM Q&A prep (JSON):masterplan_v3_foreseeable_misuse_QA_prep_v001.json
Question-and-answer set aligned to FM1–FM7.
FM reading crosswalk (JSON):masterplan_v3_foreseeable_misuse_reading_crosswalk_v001.json
Scenario-level mapping from FM1–FM7 to source families and example sources.
FM citations manifest (JSON):masterplan_v3_foreseeable_misuse_citations_v001.json
Maps FM-relevant source handles to canonical URLs and alternates; backing store
for the Sources blocks in the HTML pages.
5. Verifying and Assigning Reading
For any specific FM scenario, you can sanity-check the story or assign
reading in three quick steps:
Start with the FM counsel-work page card for that scenario
(narrative + key points).
Look at the FM acceptance table row for the same scenario
to see Anthropic commitments, customer responsibilities, and follow-ups.
Use the Sources block in that row to jump to:
Anthropic policies (Terms, AUP, privacy, security/transparency),
RSP/ASL docs, relevant legal sources, and at least one piece of scholarship
or technical grounding work.
That pattern should be enough to go from “what we’re saying” to “where it’s
backed by written evidence” in one or two clicks per scenario.
6. Notes & Future Adjustments
This FM module is intended as a v1. If future regulatory developments, case
law, or Anthropic policy changes shift the landscape, the FM matrix, acceptance
table, and citations manifest can be updated without changing the overall pattern.
If you prefer a different visual presentation (e.g., alternative theming),
that can be layered on top of these same HTML pages without altering the
underlying text or links.
